Fundraising Stamps

stampsBy simply collecting postage stamps from your mail, you could help us to raise vital funds to cover the cost of a 4-week recuperative holiday for a young child living with the after effects of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.

We have teamed up with a specialist recycling organisation who will pay us for every kilo of stamps that we recycle but we need you to spread the word to your friends, family, colleagues and other contacts and help us to collect as many stamps as possible.

Everyday 1st and 2nd class, special issue & commemoratives and foreign stamps in used or mint condition are all acceptable as long as they are no more than 3 years old. Each stamp needs to be either cut or torn from the envelope leaving a narrow border (ideally not more than 1cm wide) of single layer backing paper around it to protect the perforations of the stamp.

Stamps can either be handed over to one of our charity members for us to send off or you can request a prepaid envelope and send in your stamps direct. Each envelope bears our charity name and the proceeds from the recycled stamps will automatically be credited to our account.

Every penny that we raise from this simple fundraising initiative will help us to provide a month of valuable respite in Leicestershire for the needy children who we support through our volunteer run Family Hosting Programme, so please start collecting now and help us to make a real difference. Thank you!

An Easy way to help us raise funds
